Cocktails and Canapés at The Harvard Club of New York

An evening to help us Rebuild Homes and Restore Jewish lives in Ukraine
In 2010, World Jewish Relief began supporting older Jewish communities in Eastern Europe with essential home repairs to restore safe and dignified living conditions.
Between February 2022 to October 2024, World Jewish Relief and its partners have repaired 1055 homes  damaged by missiles or artillery restoring safety and wellbeing for 1,556 people in Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Odesa and Mykolaiv.

With your help, we aim to repair an additional 50 Jewish homes in Ukraine.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Harvard Club of New York for an unforgettable evening hosted by World Jewish Relief USA Board President, Kevin Sneader. Together, we welcomed supporters and new friends to share the transformative impact of our work and the values that drive us forward.

For those who missed the event, we invite you to watch an exclusive message from Sir Simon Schama which was shown on the night.

Stories from the Frontline in Ukraine
Guests also heard a moving story from Chief Executive Paul Anticoni, following his recent visit to Odesa Ukraine. After Nadia’s home was damaged by a missile strike, our rapid-response home repairs team stepped in to replace her windows within 48 hours, ensuring she had warmth and safety as winter approached.
